I believe that the city of south pasadena garbage goes through and sorts for recycling. Do not know 100% that this includes paper, but believe it is so

If Measure SP doesn’t pass then we are worse off. Measure SP LIMITS development. Without it, individual developers can build TWICE the numbers of condos, etc.

The new buildings and open space, including a town square, are going up where there are parking lots and abandoned building. Plus, we’re talking small retail stores, no chainstores or big boxes.

And get this, The Rialto and Landmark Theaters supports Measure SP. They realize that many parts of South Pas are crumbling. Without preservation and progress, our city is in bad shape.

I’m voting YES on Measure SP

Thanks for dropping in and leaving a comment, socalbuttongal. We obviously have different opinions, but I respect where you’re coming from. I wonder what South Pasadena will look like 50 years from now if residents don’t have an intentional plan for the future. Look at all the chains on Fair Oaks. What’s not to say that that kind of development won’t spread over time if there isn’t a better alternative? That definitely is the trend of much of the rest of America in the absence of a community vision for development.
